Files containing images, audio excerpts and videos that recorded events intertwined with one another in an information network that refers to a border-line culture. It is the Metadata of a culture which has been transformed and probably lost or that will be lost in an undated era.
According to T.S. Eliot, “Time present and time past. Are both perhaps present in time future. And time future contained in time past. If all time is eternally present. All time is unredeemable. What might have been is an abstraction. Remaining a perpetual possibility. Only in a world of speculation. What might have been and what has been. Point to one end, which is always present”.
The installation Meta-data is an information network, where all information is vaguely placed in time and space, underlining the nature of a past event of a situation which is irreversible and leaves its digital traces to perpetually travel as monuments of the human kind.
