Lina Theodorou’s work SENEX “Save the Pensioner” is an ironic campaign that includes posters, a board game and advertising messages, supposedly created by 18 Swiss pharmaceutical companies. These mega-financial giants want to take advantage of the state of emergency of public health in Greece due to the economic crisis, and thus, attempt to convince the Greek pensioners to voluntarily become “guinea pigs” for innovative anti-aging treatments and testing of new medicines.
Lina Theodorou studied at the School of Graphic Arts and Creative Studies, Athens, the School of Fine Arts of Athens (Sculpture) and the School of Fine Arts, Sculpture and Multimedia, The Hague, Holland. Lina Theodorou primarily works through video and installations.
