A museum of the vernacular AI – Αποστολος Ζερδεβας

This work is a DIGITAL  composite of photographs of museum artworks rearranged and reprocessed through a series of autofill processes powered by software  AI. The whole process tries to combine the properties of casual/snapshot photography, and the rigid structures superimposed by the cultural references associated with museum presentations. The  AI digital post-production part of the work tries to examine the possibilities of everyday usage of post-production software such as photoshop, and to the extent that usages such as autofill can lead to a creation of a new vernacular aesthetic that is a combination of the apparatuses of photography and software programming.
