The work “Hospital interns” is a video installation of a bunch of
mechanical award human portraits starring at strangers outside the
exhibition window. In the interior space of the building the portraits
are looking at each other without communicating. These portraits don’t
correspond to real people, since they are a collage of characteristics
from different people. Their symbolic and true nonexistence composes
a dystopic image of the future. Who is looking at whom? What feelings
are derived from these mannequins? Is the sick one – and mostly the
prisoner – a stranger? Does this image really justify our motiv to not care?
